When I recommend something — a VPN, an eSIM, travel insurance — the link might be an affiliate link. If you click it and buy, the company pays me a small commission. The price you pay is the same as if you went to them directly. You don’t pay extra.
I only put affiliate links on things I’d use myself, or would hand to a friend. If a product is bad, I say so, even if it pays me. The commission never decides what makes it onto this site.
When I haven’t tested something personally, I say that too.
It’s the law in many countries to disclose this clearly. More than that, it’s the deal I want with you. You’re trusting me with your trip plans. The honest thing is to be straight about how the site stays free.
If you want to know why something is recommended, or whether a specific link is an affiliate link, email me. I’ll answer straight.
